About me
I help clients develop and manage online content that resonates with existing clientele and engages potential customers. I entered the working world as a coach for the top collegiate-level speech & debate program in the nation. My job duties included going on the hunt for obscure communication theory articles and convincing college-age students their voices mattered. After working for the university for three years, I moved back to my hometown and started working concurrently at a web marketing firm and not-for-profit grocery cooperative. At the former, I created content for a variety of websites and clients. At the latter, I worked in various capacities across departments--ultimately landing as the assistant marketing manager. I managed web and social media content, assisted with the design of internal and external advertising, wrote copy, and did my part to promote local food, farmers, and folk. I have long loved scrolling through blogs of all sorts. So, while living and working in Kentucky, I decided I’d give it a go myself and started a lifestyle and lifelong learning blog -- www.findingdelight.com. I chose the name in honor of the mantra I adopted several years prior. FIND DELIGHT. I continue to live life in the pursuit of delight, honoring life’s simple and unexpected pleasures, and this blog has helped me to do so in so many ways. My husband and I now live in Alabama with our ragdoll cat, Wink. I love yoga, watching documentaries, reading books, and going on outdoor adventures.
